Two teammates from the 2006 FC Richmond Magic team named Lucas Spiegel and Josh Siddiqi, both decided to give back for their birthdays instead of getting gifts. These two asked for donations to the John Le Lay Memorial Fund, which is a fund in memoriam of John Le Lay who was a great man that was part of the FC Richmond family for over 25 years. Instead of gifts, they received a total of $425 for the fund. They later explained that they did it because John Le Lay’s legacy at the club had such an big impact on them, they felt that others should be able to be affected by this amazing man as well. Lucas is currently in 4th grade but Josh does not go to this school. Pictured here is Josh on the left and Lucas on the right, along with Karen Le Lay, John Le Lay’s wife.
